We are dedicated to research as it allows us to innovate and discover what’s possible within the FinTech and Web3 space. However, innovation alone isn’t our only driver, it underpins out company values. We nurture and welcome an expert team of academics who enable us to contribute to our own service innovation, infrastructure, and exploration with the freedom to propose a range of research sectors across varying levels of risk and size.

Infrastructure
Our infrastructure projects are about understanding the problem as much as searching for the solution. Overcoming the challenges of blockchain and regulatory requirements within the FinTech space is something we understand. Our Chief Technology Officer Joe Lyske PhD is an expert in the field of artificial Intelligence whose work has invented and patented several core technologies for composing and editing music resulting in the world’s first AI engine that atomised music for video editing. Joe Lyske PhD is one of the technological minds behind our Web3 banking technology and is an example of the excellence that we celebrate at Tintra.
Exploratory Research
Our approach to exploratory research helps us to investigate questions that have not previously been studied. Our Senior technology officer Davy Smith PhD’s research focuses on the applications of interactive storytelling and artificial intelligence to broadcast media, bridging fine art, interactive media, and computer science. He has also developed and exhibited technology with several leading creative institutions including Tate, FACT and the BBC. His exploration of our role within the metaverse has posed new perspectives in the space as we continue to build technology that bridges real-world while also bridging the gap between AI and VR.

Policy Research
Our policy research examines the effects of current government or social policies or predict the potential effects of proposed policies as those effects relate to the distribution or redistribution of resources. Our non-executive director, Vanessa Neumann, PhD, works within government agencies to aid the visibility and advance emerging market representation. Her role is also expansive in the banking sector and how policy research informs our philosophy from a regulatory standpoint.
